With reference to the subject of the extension of the Admiralty Rifle Range at Kowloon and Stonecutters' Island to meet the requirements of the new Magazine Rifle, which it is understood is now under the consideration of the Colonial Govern- ment, a request having been made for permission to make the requisite extension, I have the honour to forward herewith 4 revised plans respecting these Ranges which it is requisted may be substituted for those now in possession of the Local Board of forks, and which it is desired may be returned as as soon as con- venient.

These plans now forwarded erbody modifications
of the original plane which have been subsequently found necessary and it is requxsted Your Excellency may be pleased to give directions for these revised plans to be returned to me when the decision of the Colonial Government is communicated,
