With reference to your Despatch No. 182
of the 20th. of last June, I have the honour to transmit for
your consideration the enclosed copy of a minute by the
Colonial Treasurer, dated the 11th. instant, and to recommend
that, in view of the onerous duties discharged by the 3rd.
Clerk at the Treasury, that post may be placed in the 3rd.
Class of the Scheme for Classification of the Salaries of
the Subordinate Civil Service, which was forwarded to you
under cover of my Despatch No. 202 of the 3rd. June, 1901.
