Sterling Salaries-Value of Quarters.
With reference to Circular No. 49, it is hereby notified to Heads of Departments for general information that note 11 of the Sterling Salary Scheme is to stand unaltered, as it has
been confirmed by the Secretary of State.

· Officers accepting the Sterling salaries scheme and officers promoted will forfeit the privilege of counting the value of free quarters for pension, a privilege from which all officers appointed to the Service in future will be debarred.
