Report on Ordinance of 190 2.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinance to amend The Stamp Ordinance, 1901,
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions.
The object is to increase the Stamp Duties payable
under the First Schedule of Ordinance No.23 of 1901.
The increase is made for purposes of revenue.
