I have the honour to ack. the receipt of
your desp. No. 468.of the 28th of Sep. and
to inform you that in the absence of a noti-
fication that H.M.'s Government have approved
a change in the allocation of the Note issue
of the Chartered Bank, any excess over the
amount of 3,300,000 dollars at present sanc-
tioned as the apount to be allocated to H.
