I have the honour to transmit for your
consideration the enclosed copy of a resolution unanimously
passed by the General Committee of the Hongkong General
Chamber of Commerce at a Meeting held on the 16th. instant,
strongly endorsing the necessity of the proposed service across
the Atlantic and accelerated train service to Vancouver by the
Canadian Pacific Railway Company.
2.
I have caused a copy of this resolution
to be forwarded to the Right Honourable the Postmaster-General
as requested by the Chamber of Commerce.
