With reference to your Despatch No. 238
of the 8th. ultimo, I have the honour to inform you that the
Colonial Treasurer has requested that the words 'at the cur-
rent rate of exchange" may in future he omitted from such
forms when addressed to this Goverment, as it is the practice
to obtain repayment of the amount of dollars standing in the
Treasury books.
