Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the re-
ceipt of your Despatch No. 232 of the 1st. ultimo, and to in-
form you that, with the advice of Executive Council, I have
granted Mr. Faherty a commutation of pension at the Sterling
rate of £18 X 5–290 Sterling,

I have caused an amended Pension Paper to
be forwarded to the Crown Agents with a request that they
will cause the amount to be paid to Mr. Faherty.
