cover the cost of removing the cottage and the articles stored,
and informed the local Agents that the Colonial Government,
although it found it very inconvenient to sell the land, would
in the circumstances put it up to sale at an upset premium of
£16,000 and Crown Rent at the rate of $650 an acre. The Agents
have communicated this offer to their principals and are await-
ing reply.
