These Addresses will be transmitted under separate cover, together with a further Address which I received a few days afterwards from the Right Reverend Bishop L. M. Piazzoli, on behalf of the Roman Catholics of Hongkong; and I have now the honour to request you to be so good as to lay these Addresses before His Majesty with an assurance of the devoted loyalty with which His Majesty's Person is regarded in this Colony, and with an expression of the fervent hopes of all classes of His Majesty's subjects for His speedy restoration to health.
