I am directed by the Sec Ch to inform you that he approves your defraying from Hong-Kong funds any expenses which may be incurred by Prof Simpson in obtaining photo-lithographs of the charts, maps and other material required for his final report on the Housing of the population of Hong Kong.
I am also to request you to give Prof Simpson any assistance he may need in regard to such reproduction.
