It is suggested that the floor of the Post Office be raised sufficiently above the level of the footpath to give additional light and ventilation to the Basement floor.

Ground Floor - Post Office 569 square feet

First Floor - Treasury and Registrar General's Departments

Second Floor - Audit, Education, and Sanitary Departments and house accommodation for Chief Clerk of Post Office.

Basement Floor - For Post Office:

Large room for sorting mails and bags.

Room for parcel post and letter boxes.

Diff'rent rooms: 200 square feet.

Several spare rooms.

For Sanitary Department:

Several store rooms to be used as Godowns.

For other Offices:

Several store rooms.

Heating Chamber.

A convenient staircase connects the ground floors.
