It appears that the Draft New Building Order consolidated with a Health Clause has just been introduced into the Legislature by Connell. It is uncertain when the Order is likely to be passed. It will, however, be necessary to print the necessary Building Rules which are at present embodied in the new edition, but a number of them should not appear in the index with a note that they are (or have been or are about to be) repealed (according as the new Ordinance has or has not been passed when the index is ready).
549 The three Ordinances referred to at the end of your letter under reply should be retained, whether or not repeated by the new Clause, as they are of more general importance than the omitted Building Ordinances.
