A requisition is being prepared for a new Pumping Engine and Boiler in accordance with the recommendations contained in paragraph 36 and for a new main in accordance with those in paragraph 27.
The reconstruction of No. 2 Tank, referred to in paragraph 31, will be undertaken as early as possible.
It is improbable that more than $15,000 will be expended on the above-mentioned works during the current year. None of the machinery, pumps, or apparatus required from England will be chargeable during this year as there is not time to admit of its arrival in the Colony before the end of the year.
