The Colonial Secretary presents his compliments to the
Under Secretary of State for the Colonies and begs to inform him
that in the column "Recommended" in the schedule which accom-
panied Sir R. Gascoigne's despatch No.267 of the 23rd of June,
as enclosure 3, the last item should read
"1 Clerk at $1,800 - $2,100 by $60 biennially," not
"annually" as stated therein by a clerical error.
