the harbour and to the south of the Cust Rooks, invising their opinion and asking them whether in the event of such costly operations being undertaken by the Government they would be prepared to consent to an additional tax on shipping with a view to meeting such cost.
With regard to the various proposals which had been put forward regarding the lighting of the eastern approach to the anchorage it was recommended that the Harbour Master should be directed to put himself into communication with His Excellency the Vice-Admiral, and should report to the Government the result of a joint consideration of those proposals.
