I am directed by Mr. Sec. Ch. to forward to you copies of the two Tramways Ordinances which have now been passed by the Legislature of Hong Kong.
2. The Gov. has been informed that H.M. the King will not be advised to exercise his powers of disallowance with regard to these Ordinances, but directions have been given for the amendment of section 21 of Ordinance No. 5 by the substitution of the words "A Govt. Dept." for "Govt." in the 4th line.
