You said in your memorandum of 24th August

"A month's half salary will be advanced to you upon receipt of agreement signed &c."
Last night I received enclosed papers offering me
a £7 advance as a month's half salary I take it.
Is this correct ? Agreement says "$1800 to be the yearly salary, half of which will be called @ 3/- dollar" I worked this out before Mr Pownall and understood (I have the original figures before me now) it worked out as under:
£900 at 2.14 $900 at 3.0
£95.12.6.
£135.0.0.
£230.12.6. per annum
So I take it a month's salary halved ought to be £9.12.2.

Even $150 @ 2.1 would be £16.17.6 per month. £8.8.9
the half (as per advertisement in Builder).
