Kong.

Sir,

10025

Rest 23 APR 12

Government House,

Hongkong, 24th March, 1902.

416

I have the honour to inform you that I have found it necessary to dismiss Mr. Triscott from his post as Overseer in the Praya Reclamation Office, for intemperate and dissipated habits.

2. Mr. Triscott was under an Agreement drawn up by the Crown Agents and transmitted to this Office under cover of their letter No. 246/T of the 5th May, 1897, which provided for his dismissal in the event of his being incapacitated for duty through his own fault. I understand that he has now left the Colony, and has probably sailed for England. His dismissal takes effect from the 5th day of this month.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

RIGHT HONOURABLE JOSEPH CHAMBERLAIN, M.P.,

&C.

Your most obedient

Humble servant,

H. A. Blake

Major-General, Administering the Government.
