Dr. Chung returned to the Colony and resumed duty on 17th December, but unfortunately his health has by no means been re-established. Mr. Ro Ko Tsun acted as Resident Surgeon during his absence, and I have been much satisfied with his discharge of the duties of the office.
During my own absence from the Colony in the last two months of the quarter, and until my return to Hongkong on 5th February Dr. Lamort acted for me as Inspecting Medical Officer.
