under No. 15 (1) of the Pension Minute, to the extent of
adding a period of ten years to his actual resident service
a recommendation which I trust will receive your approval.
As Dr. Lowson has remained in hospital
since his return to the Colony, I am unable to say when he
will be in a fit state to travel to Europe. Meanwhile, there-
fore, his pension will be paid in this Colony with effect
from December 26th. last.
