In passing this on to Me Lucas please say is right in stating whether the D.PW Øn p. 2. of the Report that no cert is required in the case of alterations of buildings, (sec. 5, 53979 of Ord. 53 of 1889 & s. 14 of Ord. 25 of 1891).
This Report is not very satisfactory. 11272/00 has been a long previous time out a new Overseer; collapse of a house was reported, led to out sending of Buildings, who left for the colony 20 Sept: 00, & therefore arrived before the alterations of these buildings were ended, & apparently I can see no excuse for the PW,D -having apparently almost entirely
