I am delighted to know when the permission of the King and the Prince of Wales has been obtained and the name of the sculptor selected by them. The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation have agreed to allow the statues to be placed on the northern portion of the reclamation outside the Bank in front of their premises.
We expect to hear from you soon. The Master of the Chamberlain will no doubt want to send an acknowledgement of the offer. I telegraph to S.C. Potts.
