I am directed by the Secretary of State for the Colonies to
acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 2nd and copy/paragraph of the letter from the Laboratory

passed as physically fit for service, and that you have accordingly been
selected for appointment as Bacteriologist in Hong Kong

5. Dr Manson has requested that you should be re-vaccinated before leaving for Hong Kong.
6. A letter has been received from the ... Hospital Medical College stating that you will be relieved from your duties there at the end of the month.
