21 Queen Anne Street, Cavendish Square, W.

December 2nd. 1901.

Sir,

I have today examined Mr. William Hunter,

and have the honour to report that, in my opinion,

he is physically fit for service as Pathologist in Hong Kong.

In the course of my examination I found his

urine contained a trace of albumin which, however,

at a subsequent examination had disappeared.

I would recommend that before renewal of

his engagement, five years hence his urine be

re-examined.

Before proceeding to Hong Kong he ought to be

revaccinated.

I am,

Sir,

Your obedient Servant,

B. Balminton(?)

The Under Secretary of State,

Colonial Office,

London, S.W.
