That attempt drafted, there is an injustice done. It is good form to make clear the reasons why such a challenge should not be made after the necessary proof of rightful claims properly represented.

That the fact that Army Medical Officers are accorded similar privileges is a good precedent for adopting a similar stance.

That the question of whether a Veterinary Officer should be allowed to claim such privileges is a matter that might be submitted for consideration.

I feel sure that Lt Lucas is the best man to judge this matter, and I hope that he would probably support my claims.

The Army authorities, however, might oppose it, but I fear that they are not in a position to manage to swive and trimble over Colonel Thorla by any means.

The subject grossly suffers from a futile ease.

I admit the justice of the Colonial Office's stance, which is very good sort.

Was he generally too inclined to do anything, hence my application to you?

Please return the printed minute when finished with.

Again thanking you indeed for taking the trouble.

I remain, yours truly,

Capt. A.H. Lee, D.A.A.G.M.P.
