We have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter No. 36055/1901 of the 17th instant respecting the case of F. G. Hanson, and to acquaint you, for the information of Mr. Secretary Chamberlain, that Mr. John Davidson, No. 284 Coldharbour Lane, S.W., informed my officer that he would be prepared to proceed to Hong Kong any day after the 25th of December next to give evidence against the above-named.
He also stated that he would at once communicate with the Colonial Office to that effect.
