The Superintendent

I saw Commander Hasting's name in the paper last week, and gathered the impression that he was still in this country.

I should like to ascertain from the Colonial Office whether my service here would be counted for purposes of pension, or whether I should be regarded as superannuated from the Home Service. I should also like to know what pensions are paid to Widows and Orphans, and whether any allowance is made for passage home on leave, and whether any quarters are provided in Government buildings, or whether it would be necessary to rent a house there.
