The proposal, contained in 3rd paragraph of the letter dated the 18th of March from this Department, informs bin Hoog Blake that, "The direct interest of the Colonial Govt. in the Military Estimates having been removed by the new Military Contitution Cromance, there is no advantage in his presence at the meetings of the Committee which deal with these Estimates."
