The Director of Military Intelligence presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies and would be much obliged if he could be informed as to the present state of affairs with regard to the survey of the new territory at Hong Kong.
Sir John Ardagh would particularly like to know when the survey will be completed, where the resulting map is to be printed, and when copies of it will be obtainable.
