In reply to Mr. Antrobus' letter of the 27th ultimo (12418 (1901)), I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury to request you to inform the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that the necessary authority has this day been given to the Master of the Mint to supply (should he see no objection) the undermentioned subsidiary coins for the use of the Government of Hong Kong, by the total nominal value of $3,000,000 as requested in the letter under reply, viz.:-
10 cent pieces $2,500,000
5-cent pieces $500,000
Consignments specified.
