In that year Messrs. Cassell and Company published their Universal Atlas and they requested the

Colonial Office to check the lines of frontier to

be shown on the Colonial sheets.

Sir Robert Meade was anxious to have this done

by the Intelligence Division but on the latter

pointing out the objections to such a course and

offering to indicate to Messrs. Cassell and Company
