openings, heights, thicknesses of walls and such similar information as Mr Mossop will be able to send us from the actual work.
The wiring of the building for the electric light should be provided for in consultation with an Electrical Engineer. If there is, as is probable, a competent adviser on the spot it would be well to get his views so that these unusually thick walls and piers may not have to be cut through hereafter. At the same time it may be well to determine whether electrically driven fans shall be employed in the Courts, Library and the larger rooms occupied by the Clerical Staff so that due provision may be made in the structure.
The question of electric v. hydraulic lifts also should be determined for the same reason.
It would be a great convenience if progress photographs of the superstructure could be sent quarterly for our guidance and information.
