Referring to Major Cameron's letter of the 6th instant, I have to inform you that the punches required in connection with the Bronze coinage for the Government of Hong Kong, which has been entrusted to the Mint, Birmingham Ltd., have been delivered to that firm.

Arrangements will on this occasion be made for an Officer of this Department to inspect the coinage, but it is desirable that the Crown Agents should, if possible, in future make their own inspection as these repeated visits of the supervising Officers of the Royal Mint to Birmingham are not convenient.
