Report on Ordinance 33 of 1901.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance to amend the Statute Law Revision Ordinance, 1901,"
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
The object of this Ordinance is to remove a doubt which has been raised as to the proper construction of section 5 of Ordinance 29 of 1901 owing to the fact that it is arguable that the word "enactments" might cover whole Ordinances as well as particular enacting parts of them.
