I have the honour to inform you that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have been authorised to pay to Dr W. Stunter, Bacteriologist, on the security of himself and one other responsible person, his personal security, the sum of twenty pounds (£20) as an advance on account of his salary, to be repaid in the Colony at the current rate of exchange by such instalments as you may see fit to direct.
I take this opportunity of informing you in reply to your despatch No. 494, 20th January for the laboratory elected by Dr Hunter that everything that is necessary for the laboratory is properly stored in Blake's deap.
