Rent of Government Schools. On the 30th April 1900, the Inspector of Schools reported that the Church Missionary Society was about to sell the house, one floor of which was then rented by the Government for use as a school and teacher's quarters at Taumati. Better quarters therefore became necessary and were ultimately found in Mongkoktsui but only at the increased rate of $12 a month.
