(7) Experimental Garden. - New Territory, a piece of land has been provisionally selected for an Experimental Garden and a sum of $3,000 has been inserted pending a report from the Land Court as to whom the land selected belongs.
(8) Turfing around Police Stations, New Territory. - On sanitary grounds it is necessary to returf the earth recently turned up in the neighbourhood of the Police Stations in the New Territory.
(9) Electrically Lighting the Botanic Gardens $842. There have been frequent complaints of the unsatisfactory manner in which the Public Gardens are lighted when the Band plays here at night. The present vote is inserted to make provision for lighting the Gardens more satisfactorily.
