A DIARY Passage, often
(1) PASSED CADETS:-
Cadets have made satisfactory progress in their training, with some completing their examinations. Messrs Messer, Johnston & Ross will probably pass before the close of 1901 or in the next spring.
Messrs Clementi & Wolfe have passed their final examination and are expected to be graduated shortly.
(2) UNPASSED CADETS:- Mr Kemp & Mr Wood have each so far passed 2 examinations, and two new cadets are expected from England in December.
(3) PORTER:
Tsang Ho, after 25 years' service in the Colonial Secretary's Office, has been granted a further increase of $3 monthly. Tsang's initial salary was $13, increased in 1892 to $15, in 1898 to $20, and in 1900 to $22 a month. His salary will now be $25 monthly.
