The Governor's salary is calculated at 1/11 1/20 95 NOV
(2) The necessity for an efficient Interpreter at Government House has
long been felt, and there are reasons why he should be an Inspector
of the 3rd Class.
(3) Government House Department has hitherto not been supplied with
Messengers, the duties of Messengers having been discharged by the
Governor's private Chair Coolies. This arrangement has not been found
to work satisfactorily. At least two Messengers will be required.
