Market at Kowloon. Owing to the great expansion which has recently taken place in Kowloon, the provision of market accommodation at Kowloon was considered advisable. The question was referred to them and a vote was obtained to enable the preparation of the necessary note for submission within this year. The site selected is near the Water Police Station at Kowloon, where an inevitable market can be erected, the position being suitable.
Extension of Wasichai Market. The market accommodation in the city has for some time past been recognised as inadequate, and licences have been issued for the sale of certain articles of food outside the Markets.
