2. I have to point out with reference to the last para. of your despatch No. 193 of the 22nd May last, that the proposal to transfer the Naval Yard and Dock to Kowloon has now been rejected, as I was informed by my despatch No. 361 of the 23rd October last. It will therefore be necessary to enact further Ordinance legalizing the Admiralty reclamation.
