Duties: The same shall strictly go with the requirements regarding (a) the importation of cattle, (b) the management of slaughter houses and Cattle Depot, (c) the management of markets, (d) the active supervision of Veterinary matters in the New Territory.
Qualifications: The diploma of member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, England.
Salary: £450 rising to £520 by triennial increments of £35, plus $360 yearly conveyance allowance.

Other circumstances affecting the value of the office: Private consulting practice allowed only by special permission of the Governor.
