Sir,
In continuation of my letter No. 2323 of the 2nd instant, I am directed to inform you that, as your written reply of the 4th instant was not considered such as to exculpate you from the charges brought against you, your case will be brought before the Executive Council on the 1st of October proximo, at 11 A.M., and that you will be allowed to appear before the Council on that date, and at that hour to defend yourself orally.
I am further to request you to state what witnesses you wish to be called so that arrangements may be made for them to attend.
