I cannot see why this derfrutale is necessary.
Senior Grade Asst Master proposed for Ralphs' appointment.
I should have thought it clear that, but for the vacancy caused by Woolcock's transfer, Ralphs would have been appointed.
The pay is the same. I approve of the proposal which is waiting for sanction.
A letter I wrote then at Mr Lucas' request was sent at once.
