In short, the originals extradited from Bangkok were executed, irrespective of any confession such as the Authorities usually obtain, through torture when not voluntarily made; and, in the present instance, no voluntary confession was made. The two men had been tried, sentenced, and executed on the strength of the evidence produced against them.
