With reference to your Despatch No.241 of the 19th of last July, I have the honour to draw your attention to the fact that the appointment of Mr. Woodcock to be Secretary of the Sanitary Board has created a vacancy in the Staff of Queen's College.

I enclose a table of particulars of the office now vacant and shall be glad if you will be good enough to select and send out to this Colony a new Assistant Master as early as possible.
