Sir,
I have the honour to transmit for the signification of His
Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinance entitled
"An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a Sup-
plementary Sum of Five hundred and fifty-nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-one Dollars and seventy-eight Cents, to defray the Charges of the Year 1900." No.17 of 1901.

2. The customary Report by the Attorney General is annexed.
3. Six copies of the Supplementary Estimates for 1900 are
forwarded herewith, in which will be found full explanations
of the supplementary votes approved by the Legislative Coun-
cil.
