PARTICULARS of the Office now vacant as Armourer Sergeant to the Hongkong Volunteers and Hongkong Police in the Colony of Hongkong.

Duties of office, and qualifications required for their performance.

Salary and emoluments, and whether secured by a permanent law.

Care, preservation and repair of small arms and Machine Guns of the Hongkong Volunteers and Hongkong Police. Should be an Armourer Sergeant of the 2nd class (at least) Army Ordnance Corps. Should hold certificate from the Small Arm Factory. £225 $1,800 per annum.

Other circumstances affecting the Office.

Nature, number, and amount of securities required, and mode of furnishing them. Free quarters when available. Until available $540 per annum house allowance. None. Whether any, and if any, what provision is made from public funds for the passage from this country to elsewhere, of the persons sent to fill the office. 2nd Class passage will be provided out of Colonial funds.

Acts or Ordinances making provision respecting any of the above particulars, and especially respecting permanency of the emoluments, the particulars of the security required, with references to the sections in which such provision is made.
