My dear Sir,
I have much pleasure in stating that you have filled the important office of Director of Public Works to my entire satisfaction. I have been indeed surprised at the energy and ability that you have shown in that position and I trust that when in the course of time the office becomes vacant your claim to it will be favourably considered.
Now that Mr. Camoby has arrived as Director of Public Works you will return to your substantive appointment.
Faithfully yours,
Sd. William Robinson
